“The collaboration between Global Assist and NEHCS is a testament to the power of partnership in addressing challenges and achieving shared goals. By combining their strengths—Global Assist’s expertise in training and coaching, and NEHCS’s deep roots in the community—they have created a model for church planting that prioritizes both evangelism and the long-term health of churches.”
A pre-exisitng relationship brought the leaders of Global Assist and the North East Human Care Society (NEHCS) to support one another in training local church planters in South Asia. Through the collaboration of these two ministries, they have been seen over 100 healthy and sustaiable house churches planted!
The North East Human Care Society has a passionate group of church planters, committed to finding ways to save the whole person so that they experience Christ’s love in every area of life. A few years ago, NEHCS leaders saw there was a clear passion for evangelism and to see local communities impacted by Christ, but they needed help to train the local house churches on how to be healthy and sustainable. Global Assist has been able to partner with NEHCS to train their church planters and the impact has been incredible.
Starting with a core group of 10 couples committed to church planting, Global Assist designed a training and coaching program on how to build healthy churches. Over the past three years, these church planters have now seen over 100 new, healthy house churches established in their region of South Asia! One of the wives in this group has developed 25 women leaders who now each manage a house church! These new churches are continuing to thrive and are helping develop the next generation of local Christians and future church planters.
Along with the training to the church planters, a key resource that has empowered their church planting efforts in provided in partnership with Leader Source, has been audio bibles. Provided by another ministry, these audio bibles have enable evangelism to take place in the local language of parts of the country with lower literacy levels. By utilizing each others’ strengths, these ministries have enabled these local church planters to plant, develop, and sustain these new house churches in South Asia.
“Today, NEHCS is not only seeing healthy churches multiply but is also taking steps to ensure the sustainability of this growth. With the support of Global Assist, they are moving toward hiring a full-time coach to assist church planters in building healthy churches and developing leaders.” - Global Assist
Please join us in celebrating the impact of these partnerships and praying for the health and longevity of these new churches. To connect with Global Assist and learn how you can connect with them, visit their website at http://www.goglobalassist.org/.
