The Global Alliance Church Multiplication (GACX) will host an Emerging Leaders Summit February 1 - 6, 2027, in Nairobi, Kenya. This international gathering will bring together 250 younger church-planting leaders from every region of the world for a week of equipping, mentoring, and collaboration.
Participant and Mentor registration is a Two-Step process. Currently, Phase One is for nomination of participants and application of mentors. Later, Phase Two will be registration for participants and mentors, who have been selected and invited by GACX.
Anyone in church multiplication can nominate a participant. The ideal nomination is from a mentor or church-planting leader who knows the applicant well. Participants must be key emerging leaders, ages 20 - 45, who are involved with church planting of some form.
Step 1
Nominations are open now and will be accepted through July 31, 2026.
Step 2
Review by the GACX Steering Committee by the end of August 2026.
Step 3
Invitations will be sent in early September 2026.
We are gathering a select group of experienced mentors, ages 45+, to spend this week with the younger church-planting leaders. They will spend significant time encouraging, sharing experiences, and praying for their participants. Mentors should be experienced leaders in church planting and global mission. Mentors may apply for themselves.

The Emerging Leaders Summit 2027 will invest in the growth of an emerging generation of mission leadership focused on church planting, while also connecting them with peers and mentors who can walk them in the days and years after the Summit.
We will convene for a strategic, week-long gathering dedicated to intensive equipping, personal mentoring, and mutual encouragement in the Spirit.
Anybody can nominate a participant at this time. Participants must be key emerging leaders, ages 20-45, who are involved in church planting in some form. Mentors should be experienced leaders in church planting and global mission, ages 45+, and able to spend this week with the younger church planting leaders.
The conference will be hosted at the Ridge Cabin Resort in Nairobi, Kenya, with arrivals on Monday, February 1, and departures on Saturday, February 6, 2027. The cost will be an estimated $550 per attendee, which includes hotel accommodations, all meals, sessions and workshops, event activities, and complimentary shuttle transportation to & from JKIA airport from Monday's Welcome Reception through Saturday's Breakfast.
In September 2026, registration will open for emerging leaders and mentors (GACX invitation-only) to book conference registration, hotel room reservations at Kenya's Ridge Cabin Resort, including airport shuttles to and from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), at a group rate for the dates of Monday, February 1 - Saturday, February 6, 2027. This does not include flight accommodations.
This summit addresses a critical gap: many high-potential emerging leaders are isolated and lack access to the mentoring and spiritual encouragement needed to sustain their work. By providing mentoring, cross-cultural relationships, and practical tools for partnership, GACX strengthens the foundation of a globally connected church that can respond more effectively to the world's changing context. Investing in younger leaders today multiplies long-term kingdom impact and accelerates progress toward a multiplying, sustaining, and healthy church in all places among all peoples.
The mentor role at the GACX Emerging Leaders Summit 2027 is designed for experienced leaders in church planting and global mission who are ages 45 or older, and who feel called to invest deeply in the next generation. Mentors will spend significant time encouraging, sharing experiences, and praying for their participants throughout the week, making it less a speaking role and more a relational, pastoral one. Unlike participants, mentors may apply directly for themselves, with applications open through July 31, 2026. The GACX Steering Committee will review applications as they are submitted and send invitations promptly.
The ideal participant for the GACX Emerging Leaders Summit 2027 is a younger church-planting leader, aged 20-45, who is actively involved in church planting in some capacity and demonstrates clear potential for long-term kingdom impact. They are best nominated by a mentor or church-planting leader who knows them well, and they should be recognized within their context as a key emerging voice in mission and multiplication. Ideally, this person shares a passion for a healthy, sustainable, and multiplying church for all people, everywhere, yet may currently lack access to the cross-cultural relationships with colleagues from around the world, mentoring, and spiritual encouragement needed to sustain and scale their work. Many high-potential emerging leaders feel isolated and alone, and the summit is specifically designed to address that gap — making the ideal participant someone who would meaningfully benefit from peer connection, experienced mentorship, and practical tools for partnership, and who in turn would bring their own energy, cultural perspective, and frontline experience to enrich the broader cohort of 250 global leaders gathered in Nairobi.
