Amanda Maddex serves as Executive Assistant to Executive Vice President Joey Shaw at GACX. Before joining GACX, she worked with Cru for more than two years, where she continued developing her passion for Christian ministry and serving others.

Amanda has a heart for helping women discover Christ and understand their identity in Him. She is currently writing a book that encourages women to embrace who God created them to be and to walk confidently in their faith and purpose.

Amanda and her husband have been married for 23 years and have three children who are each entering adulthood. Originally from West Virginia, she has called Florida home for the past ten years—a move she believes was orchestrated by God’s own hand. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys reading and spending time outside, especially at the beach.
