Scholarships are very limited. We have received far more requests than we have funds.
Scholarship decisions will be communicated by the first week of November.
Scholarships are for participants only. Mentors register at the full rate.
A scholarship, if granted, applies to the registration fee only. It does not cover airfare, your visa (eTA), or insurance.
The Summit is full, and a waitlist of qualified emerging leaders is ready to take any open spot.
On October 31, places that haven’t been claimed through registration will be offered to leaders on the waitlist.
If you know you can’t attend, please tell us now at events@gacx.io. Releasing your spot is a real gift to another leader.
If you’re registered and your plans change later, please email events@gacx.io right away.
Shuttles begin around midday.
Registration opens around 3 PM, followed by a welcome dinner and time to connect.
The program officially begins Tuesday morning, February 2.
If you land late at night or very early in the morning, you may need a Nairobi hotel near the airport until the shuttles begin. That cost is your own.
If you need to arrive early, email events@gacx.io in advance. Extra nights are not included in the $750.
Please don’t book a flight before then.
Departing in the middle of the night on February 5th/6th is fine.
The final evening is a time of celebration and worship you won’t want to miss.
If you need to stay longer, email events@gacx.io in advance. Extra nights are not included in the $750.
If you’re waiting on a scholarship decision, hold off on non-refundable tickets until early November. After that, book soon, since fares to Nairobi tend to rise.
Coming soon: exact shuttle times and a form to send us your flight details.
Yellow fever: Please get vaccinated and carry your yellow card (International Certificate of Vaccination).
Kenya requires it from travelers arriving from, or transiting through, yellow fever risk countries.
Several countries also require it when you return home from Kenya.
Get the vaccine at least 10 days before you travel.
Only rely on official Kenyan government websites for sources of information.
Travel clinic: Visit one 4–8 weeks before your trip to ask about malaria prevention and routine vaccines.
Cost: Vaccinations are a personal expense.
Passport: It must be valid for at least 6 months after you arrive, which means through at least August 1, 2027.
Kenya entry authorization (eTA):
Citizens of East African Community countries and most African countries (except Somalia and Libya) do not need an eTA.
Everyone else must apply online, using only the official site: https://etakenya.go.ke. Avoid third-party websites that charge extra.
The eTA is valid for 90 days from the date it’s issued. Apply in December, and no later than mid-January.
Please ensure that you are aware of your personal responsibilities using only official Kenyan government websites.
New: mandatory travel health insurance. Since October 2026, Kenya requires visitors to buy Kenyan travel health insurance (about USD $44) before arrival.
Unless you are a citizen of an East African Community country, plan to buy it in the weeks before you travel.
Buy it only through the official portal (https://insurance.ecitizen.go.ke) or as part of your eTA application.
Airlines may check it before you board, so keep your reference number with you.
Letters of invitation: Registered attendees can request an official letter for an eTA application, an embassy, an employer, or donors.
Email events@gacx.io with the subject line “Letter of Invitation.”
Include your full name as it appears on your passport, your passport number, your country, and what the letter is for.
Please allow 5 business days.
Participants: Our pre-Summit Participant Experience begins in December. It includes online gatherings where you can meet fellow participants, hear more about the program, and get your questions answered before you travel. More information to come!
Mentors: Please plan to join the pre-Summit mentor meeting in December. We will email you separately with a date and time and Zoom link.
Pray with us: Please begin praying now for the Summit, for the leaders who will gather, and for the mission God is entrusting to this generation.
