Most of us know the story of David and Goliath. As David prepared to battle Goliath, King Saul clothed David in expensive and heavy armor. But David wasn’t used to that unwieldy armor. He removed the armor, picked up his slingshot and five small stones, and, trusting God, approached the giant. Goliath jeered at David’s simple equipment, saying, “Am I a dog, that you come at me with sticks?” (1 Sam. 17:43).

However, God used a young man, with simple supplies, to defeat a giant.

In a similar way, Teach Every Nation and the Jesus Film Project are using simple tools for surprising wins around the world. Teach Every Nation’s “small stones” are tiny USB drives uploaded with biblical training materials that can be easily transported anywhere.
