Horn of Africa Evangelical Mission is a faith-based organization specializing in equipping and mobilizing people and resources around the world, to provide culture affirming churches (pioneer church planting) and holistic care (humanitarian aid and self-sufficiency), in the Horn of Africa region and beyond. We accomplish our mission by empowering nationals to reach into their communities and effect long-lasting, sustainable change. We also work directly with national partners, and sometimes with magistrates and parliament, to alleviate extreme poverty through free medical care, critical construction projects, community health development, child sponsorships for children affected by HIV/AIDS and women’s empowerment initiatives in some of the most difficult regions in the Horn of Africa and around the world.
