Topic: Bible translation issues in Muslim contexts made the news in 2011 and 2012, especially around the translations of divine familial terms (DFTs) “Son” and “Father.” The controversy led to agreed-upon guidelines established by the World Evangelical Alliance. The controversies, however, have not subsided. Issues of concern have expanded beyond the DFTs to include many other difficult terms.
This forum aims to be informative, edifying, and encouraging, hopefully even leading to greater understanding and further peace-making.
