Dan Brokke recently stepped aside as Bethany’s President & CEO (2006-2022) to focus on Ministry Partnership Development. Dan’s passion is to see new generations worldwide mobilized to make disciples among unreached peoples and places. Bethany has church planting teams working among 558 unreached people groups in 70 countries multiplying disciple-making movements. He and his wife Dona live in Bloomington, MN and have four grown children and nine grandchildren.

This is an amazing story of adaptation and unlikely partners: one partner with years of experience and demonstrated effectiveness, and the other with contemporary methodology and an urgency to change lives.
I ate lunch with native Ugandan friends, fellow Americans studying abroad, and students from throughout Europe and Africa. The value of forming international connections, as I experienced in Uganda, is emphasized by the Missional International Church Network (MICN).

God has been using congregations of all shapes and sizes throughout the history of his church to grow his family, including churches just like yours. It’s a big, beautiful task, but thankfully there is no one more passionate and powerful to save his people than God.
