Join us to learn more about emerging ministry opportunities in the Metaverse. Learn more about what the Metaverse is and what the Bible has to say about embodiment. Hear from practitioners about the needs of people using the Metaverse, and find out what church planters are already doing to love and serve people in this space. You will come away with a clear vision of why the  Metaverse is worth considering for future ministry.

We will also share the results of the "The State of Church Planting Survey", including the Oculus Quest 2 VR headset winner!

Objectives:
  1. Discuss needs & opportunities in the Metaverse & video gaming.
  2. Identify ministries currently innovating in this emerging technology.
  3. Release "The State of Church Planting" survey results and announce the VR Headset winners.
  4. Determine the next steps for members and interested leaders and develop Web 3.0 learning groups.
Facilitators
Miheret Tilahun Eshete serves as the senior digital strategist for GACX. He has been pioneering and leading ministries in the digital space since 2008.
Gabe Handy serves as the Director of Digital Strategies at Jesus Film Project, as well as the executive leader for a new animated film on the life of Jesus.
VR Tiger is an expert in the field of creativity with over 13 years of experience in the creative and technology space.
Adam Graber co-hosts the Device & Virtue podcast. He consults on Digital Theology for FaithTech and Leadership Network, and is a coach at Wheaton College's Center for Faith and Innovation.
Jason Poling is the lead pastor at Cornerstone Church in Yuba City, CA -- a physical church that has also hosted Metaverse services since 2019
