Coming Together to Mobilize Children for the Harvest

Candy Marballi met Carol Mango at a GACX conference and immediately knew their hearts were as one when it came to reaching children and youth with the Gospel of Jesus. Candy, president and CEO of The Prayer Covenant, was happy to help Carol with her vision of seeing 500,000 children discipled throughout Southeast Asia.
The Prayer Covenant, a GACX member and part of GACX’s Children & Youth Initiative, provided Carol with the materials she needed. In two years, Carol has trained over 1,000 leaders, distributed over 100,000 prayer cards and comic books from The Prayer Covenant, and has spread the message of the Gospel throughout 51 provinces in the Philippines and beyond. Her passion is to build strong churches through discipleship, beginning with children.
While Carol and her husband Ricky oversee church planting and prayer mobilization for South and Southeast Asia through GACX and its collaborators, her mission stays focused on making disciples among the young via the Children & Youth Initiative.
Carol shared that pastors love when she reaches out saying, “’We want to help you raise up lay leaders who will help you minister to children.’ They begin using the materials and quickly ask for more.”
"Jesus said let the children come! For this reason, the GACX Children & Youth initiative is committed to helping every child not only know Christ’s love but be empowered to share his love with others,” Candy adds. “If we include children as laborers in the harvest force, we will reach GACX's one-for-one thousand vision more rapidly!”
GACX strategic initiatives seed partnerships that can increase the pace and scope of Kingdom Growth.
Realizing GACX's shared vision - one church for every 1000 people everywhere - requires many types of strategies. GACX gathers member organizations and others around a specific ministry focus so they can share their resources and need, learn about best practices from each other, and pursue partnerships.
GACX's goal is to raise $125,000 by December 31. Please help further member-led initiatives like Children & Youth, NextGen Leaders, Marketplace Engagement, and Urban Movements. These funds will support GACX's efforts to develop in-person and virtual opportunities to advance these strategies.
Gifts to GACX are received through Cru, the US division of Campus Crusade for Christ International, and are tax deductible as allowed by law.
